Product Owner - Digital Finance Technology
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Product Owner to join our growing API team. As a Product Owner, you will have a vital role in shaping the product vision, strategy, and direction. Your responsibilities will include managing the product lifecycle using Agile methodologies, fostering collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, and ensuring that our product sets the industry standard. Moreover, you will conduct thorough customer and market research to identify innovative product opportunities and provide valuable recommendations for new revenue streams. Previous digital financial product experience in the financial domains of reverse billing/invoicing, accounts payable, accounts receivable or Taxation technology is highly beneficial. Any familiarity with the airline, hotel or travel industry would be favorably considered. Exceptional organization and communication skills are essential for this role.

Product Vision & Strategy Development
- Create and maintain a dynamic product roadmap that articulates the planned features, epics, improvements, and innovations.
- Conduct thorough research and analysis to align product strategy with market trends and user needs.
- Communicate a clear vision and provide strategic direction to development teams and stakeholders throughout the software development project lifecycle.
- Assess potential value and develop use cases to guide prioritization, ensuring focus on high-impact features aligned with product goals.
- Collaborate closely with Technical Leads, Product Management, and other stakeholders to refine and prioritize the product backlog.
- Manage the product backlog alongside the Technical Lead, ensuring all items meet criteria for readiness for development and completion.
- Identify and capitalize on growth opportunities, developing strategies and business plans that unlock the product’s full potential.
- Play an active role in clearing obstacles that may hinder successful product delivery.
- Develop and execute go-to-market and launch strategies that align with overarching business plans.
- Partner with marketing, business development, and account teams to advocate for the product and support growth initiatives.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a Product Management role is highly preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Finance, IT, or Engineering.
- Hands-on experience with digital finance technology or finance automation in areas such as reverse billing/invoicing, finance operations, accounts payable, accounts receivable, or taxation.
- Expertise in Agile frameworks, including Scrum and Kanban.
- Outstanding communication, presentation, and leadership abilities.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Analytical and strategic thinker with a proven ability to tackle complex problems.
- Prior exposure to the airline, hotel, or travel industry is a plus.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
Full time, Monday through Friday, normal core business hours and as needed on nights and weekends unless otherwise specified.

Travel Requirements
Some travel (less than 25%) is expected for this position.
Compensation
Good faith annual salary for this position is $100,000 - $125,000 and is commensurate with experience.
