Manager, Savings Performance
The Manager of Savings Performance will track and monitor APIs savings commitments utilizing market research reports and API intelligence to present suitable options to meeting our saving commitments.

- Interpret data, analyze invoices and prior airline/railway/cruise line spend. Produce COA (Total Cost of Accommodations) to establish a baseline spend.
- Maintain Savings Matrices for assigned partners, tracking hotels selected, and hotels presented against the baseline spend.
- Analyze airline spend and suggest savings options utilizing Smith Travel Research, market reports, market trends, and API intelligence.
- Support moving ideas/opportunities through client evaluation process. Deliver focused market landscape research, flight pattern analysis and contract term improvements for defined opportunities.
- Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.
- Implement improvements to the savings matrix process to best serve our clients.
- Other job duties may be assigned to the Manager of Savings Performance when needed, based on the client’s or API’s needs. This will be communicated directly by his/her supervisor.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, normal core business hours. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
Good Faith Compensation
This is a non-exempt position. The hourly wage ranges from $22-23 per hour.
Travel
This position requires minimal travel, approximately 2-5 days per year.
Required Education and Experience
- Experience in the travel industry and working closely with hotels is preferred.
- Ability to positively present API in customer facing situations.
- Customer service and client relationship skills.
- Ability to work with and understand diverse cultures here and abroad.
- An organized self-starter who can work proactively and independently.
- Ability to collaborate effectively and work as part of a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite; Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Impeccable integrity, analytical skills and a strong work ethic.
- Proficiency in Salesforce platform preferred.
