We are seeking an experienced Procurement Category Manager with experience of a heavily operational based procurement role. The responsibilities of this role include establishing and maintaining existing client relationships within our growing network of Airline and Hotel partners with the sole purpose of generating strategic growth and delivering our contract commitments, through exceptional procurement delivery.This position requires strategic vision to identify and interpret market trends and set appropriate hotel sourcing strategies. Along with excellent negotiation skills, extensive contracting experience, and strong team management you will deliver aggressive savings targets to provide maximum value to our customers whilst developing and maintaining progressive supplier relationships.
We are looking for a leader who is a strategic thinker with strong commercial acumen, a customer focus and the ability to engage effectively with a broad range of stakeholders and partners to drive business outcomes and the ability to communicate at a senior level as well as operational team members.
Developing supplier continuous improvement and applying tools and techniques based on current knowledge of best practice strategic sourcing and the hotel marketplace.
Supervisory Responsibility
Account Managers/Directors, Account Coordinator and Sourcing team members as required.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
Full-time, Monday through Friday, normal core business hours and as required on nights and weekends.
Travel: This position requires at least 30% travel.

The Experience You Will Bring
- Proven experience 8-10 years airline or hospitality industry experience
- 1-2 years’ experience leading and mentoring a small team of procurement professionals by setting clear objectives, providing regular feedback and coaching, implementing corrective actions, reporting performance metrics to senior management, and fostering a collaborative, high-performance team culture.
- Proficiency using business systems including Salesforce, Microsoft Suite (incl. Word, Excel & PowerPoint).
- Fluent in written & spoken English.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
- Detail-oriented with a track record of creating & delivering on strategic goals.
