About the Role

We’re looking for a Team Lead with software architecture experience to provide both hands-on full stack development and strategic architectural direction for our Java development initiatives. In this hybrid role, you'll assist in technical direction and architect solutions that scale across platforms and environments.

This is a highly impactful position ideal for a seasoned Solutions Architect who thrives in fast-paced, agile environments and enjoys assisting others while remaining technically involved.


Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the team lead across architecture, development, and DevOps functions
  • Own the architecture, design, and scalability of enterprise-grade applications
  • Assist in driving implementation of best practices in coding, testing (JUNIT), API design, and performance tuning
  • Assist in translating business requirements into secure, reliable, and scalable solutions
  • Oversee the integration of RESTful and SOAP-based services with modern authentication (SAML, PINGFederate)
  • Guide API documentation and testing workflows using Postman and Swagger
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless system interoperability and delivery


Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field. 
  • 7+ years of experience in enterprise application development and architecture
  • Expert-level proficiency in Java and Spring / Spring Boot Framework
  • Strong experience with Angular, React.js, JavaScript, and Node.js
  • Experience with REST, JSON, GraphQL, and SOAP integrations
  • Proficiency in cloud platforms: AWS (EC2, S3, SNS, Secrets Manager, Cognito)
  • Deep understanding of databases: PostgreSQL, MySQL, DynamoDB
  • Familiarity with DevOps tools and automation frameworks, including Ansible
  • Experience with JasperReports, and system authentication protocols like SAML, PINGFederate
  • Skilled in API design, testing (Postman, Swagger), and unit testing (JUNIT)
  • Experience with Git, CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions), and containerization (Docker is a plus). 
  • Integration testing & Unit testing of the functionality developed.  
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues across environments (development, staging, production). 
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.


Preferred Qualifications 
  • Experience in security-focused design and identity management
  • Background in enterprise reporting and legacy-to-modern tech migrations
  • Knowledge of monitoring tools like CloudWatch, DataDog 
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies. 
  • AWS certifications (Developer, Solutions Architect) are a plus.
