Summary 
​​We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Planning Supervisor to lead our planning team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations, overseeing audits, assigning tasks to Planning Analysts, scheduling, and ensuring the team’s efficiency in delivering high-quality outcomes on files. This role requires excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills to maintain smooth operations and meet departmental goals.​

  • Lead, motivate, and develop a team of planning professionals. Provide clear direction, support, and coaching to enhance team performance and growth.  

  • Oversee daily planning activities and team to ensure that tasks are assigned appropriately, and deadlines are met. Maintain high standards of work efficiency and quality.  

  • Manage the distribution of planning tasks to the team based on workload, skills, and priorities. Ensure proper documentation and dashboards remain up to date.  

  • Manage teams scheduling to include weekend coverage and resources during high file work. Allocate resources effectively to maximize productivity and ensure smooth workflow.  

  • Conduct regular audits of planning processes and outcomes. These audits include data checks in ACES, reviewing the planning analyst work and processes (example ensuring team members have Planner Update) Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions when necessary to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.  

  • Continuously analyze planning processes and workflows. Propose and implement improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness.  

  • Work closely with other departments and stakeholders to ensure seamless coordination of planning activities.   

  • Communicate any issues or delays in a timely and professional manner. Align with integration team for new clients.    

  • Provide visibility to accounting team on Low Water Mark. Build and maintain close working relationships with our airline and rail partners.   

  • Maintain accurate records of planning activities and generate or create regular reports for management review. Ensure all necessary documentation is completed accurately and on time.  

  • Ensure that all planning tasks comply with company policies, industry regulations, and standards. Keep up to date with changes in regulations and standards that may impact planning activities.   

Required Skills, Education and Experience 

  • ​​Bachelor’s degree or a related field (or equivalent experience). 

  • ​Proven experience (2+ years) in planning, or operations.  

  • ​Strong knowledge of ACES. 

  • ​Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills. 

  • ​Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously. 

  • ​High attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accuracy. 

  • ​Problem-solving mindset with the ability to think strategically. 

  • ​Experience with audits and process improvement is a plus.​ 

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work 
​Full time, Monday through Friday, normal core business hours and as needed on nights and weekends unless otherwise specified.​

Compensation 

Good faith annual salary for this position is ​$64,350.
