Accounts Receivables Lead

The Accounting Receivables Lead will:
- Assist with leading the day-to-day operations of Department while ensuring that staff completes activities ethically and in compliance with all regulations.
- Monitor collection rates and identify areas of opportunities for the department.
- Makes collection calls for accounts as needed and maintains control of aged receivable.
- Post Payment upon collection.
- Generate Nota Fiscal
- Monitoring Payment plan in place and follow up as needed.
- Provides updated AR reports monthly to management identifying AR/collection trends and escalation request.
- Assist with the development and implementation of procedures and workflows through interdepartmental collaboration to streamline and support the end-to-end accounts receivable process.
- Assists with providing departmental training to new hires and participates in training documentation development and maintenance.
- Identifies payment discrepancies and initiates collections or disputes resolution process; performs follow up procedures as needed.
- Resolves issues arising from the use of the billing systems (i.e. ACES, NetSuite, Salesforce, Excel, Outlook).
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Ability to identify problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills: organizational skills, and sound judgment
- Interest in working with numbers and desire to learn
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products required, in particular Microsoft Excel.
- Comfortable working with large amounts of data.
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Ability to exercise professional judgement and independent initiative.
- Exceptional teamwork attitude and successful related teaming experience
